I want my work to make a difference, so I work alongside people with the same desire. Communication with impact: that’s my goal and what I offer to your team.

For more than 15 years, I have honed a suite of communications skills, developed by years as a reporter, photojournalist, documentary videographer, audio producer, and magazine publisher. 

Most recently I’ve worked as director of communications at the Center on Human Trafficking Research & Outreach, running a comprehensive communications strategy that spans 11 countries across the world, funded by over $30 million in federal grants. 

I regularly work across languages, cultures, and time zones on projects intended for powerful decision makers and everyday people. You’ll find me equally happy engrossed in field work or presenting in a conference room.

To any communications project, I bring vast experience creating precise messages and compelling visual assets. But it’s not just about words and images. I understand how complex projects operate under strict funding conditions and how diverse stakeholders require a buffet of communications styles and products. 

Devising the who, what, when, where, why, and how of a communications program requires a multi-level strategy. And that strategy must align to your team’s short-term project objectives and its long term organizational goals. This is what I’m very good at doing.
